On 27–28 April 2026, a delegation from the Supreme Administrative Court of the Portuguese Republic paid a visit to the Supreme Administrative Court of Poland. The delegation comprised Jorge Miguel Aragão Seia, President of the Supreme Administrative Court, and Judges Suzana Tavares da Silva, Paulo Carvalho, Pedro Marchão Marques and Catarina Jarmela.
President Jorge Miguel Aragão Seia delivered a lecture entitled “Portuguese administrative and tax jurisdiction in 2026 – between constitutional aspirations and the labyrinths of reality.”. The lecture was followed by a Polish–Portuguese seminar on the functioning and current challenges of the administrative judiciary in both countries, including mechanisms to ensure the efficiency of proceedings and the consistency of case law, as well as ways of using AI in the judiciary.
