Warsaw. On September 25-29, 2023, judges from Austria were on a general internship at the Supreme Administrative Court: David Kaspar - judge of the National Administrative Court in Graz and Peter Berger - judge of the National Administrative Court in Salzburg. The internship was organized as part of the internship exchange program of the European Judicial Training Network (EJTN). During the internship, the judges were received by the President of the Supreme Administrative Court Jacek Chlebny, as well as by the President of the General Administrative Chamber of the Supreme Administrative Court, Judge Jerzy Siegień and the Chairwoman of Division II in this Chamber, Judge Małgorzata Miron. The interns held a number of working meetings with judges of the Supreme Administrative Court: Piotr Korzeniowski (General Administrative Chamber), Roman Wiatrowski and Tomasz Kolanowski (Financial Chamber) and Joanna Wegner (Economic Chamber), who acted as a tutor during the internship, thanks to which they had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the practical aspects of the functioning of all the Chambers of the Supreme Administrative Court. The guests took part as an audience in the hearings in the First and Second Divisions of the General Administrative Chamber of the Supreme Administrative Court in cases concerning road traffic law and the protection of monuments, as well as in the Fourth Division of the Voivodship Administrative Court in Warsaw in cases concerning foreigners, including temporary international protection. They also held meetings with the President of the Voivodship Administrative Court in Warsaw - judge of the Supreme Administrative Court Wojciech Mazur and the Vice-President of this Court, judge of the Voivodship Administrative Court Paweł Groński. The interns also familiarized themselves with the activities of the Supreme Administrative Court’s Judicial Decisions Office (during a meeting with the Head of Department II, retired judge of the Supreme Administrative Court Adam Bącala) and the Court Information Department of the Supreme Administrative Court, where they met with judge of the Supreme Administrative Court Iwona Bogucka - Deputy Chairwoman of the Court Information Department and her colleagues.
